Pretty Ballerinas and Pretty Loafers

We LOVE Pretty Ballerinas and Pretty Loafers

Tradition and craft have combined with trend and taste to creatie the fashion succes story that is Pretty Ballerinas.
All its wares are still made on the Islands of Menorca By the Mascaro family, which has handled the manufacture of its ballet shows since 1918; the company was launched under its current name in 2005.
Pretty Ballerinas offers a vast range of colours, designs, effect stand styles, from different shapes and fits.
Since opening its frist boutique in London's Mayfair in 2007, Pretty Ballerinas has proliferated across Europe and the world, with stoers in North and South America, its native Spain, Turkey,Taiwan and most recently Tel Aviv.
These shops are designed to look like chocolate boxes: characteristically small, they present the myriad shoes coffret-style , with each variety laid out on shelves, backend by traditional shoe tins and boxes to imitate the authentic ballet-shoes experience.in 2009, Pretty Ballerinas launched its Young Princess Collection for children, a range that was given the best possible exposure when the supermodel Kate Moss chose it for all sixteen of her Young bridesmaids when she married Jamie Hincein August 2011.
Other celebrity fans of the brand are Olivia Palermo and Blogger Sofie Valkiers from Fashionata, include the models Elle Macpherson and Claudia Schiffer, as well as the singer Lily Allan and the actress Angelina Jolie and her kids and Sarah Jessica Parker and her kids.

Blonde No.8

This is...BLONDE NO.8!!!

THE musthave for the next winter ;-)

2 weeks ago we had a meeting and dinner with the big boss of Blonde No.8, Michael Boveleth and his lovely wife Maria-Carolin Fitz and there cute little son.
First Michael told us everything about Blonde No.8 jackets and the company.

Blonde No.8 is founded by Michael who’s family has been working in the fashion industry for over 3 generations.
After working in his parents clothing company in Germany, he took some time off to find out what was really missing in the fashion industry.
He came up with the idea to design military fur parkas: Blonde No.8.
In this collection, you can choose from a variety of colors for the parkas but there is also a large palette of colors for the fur.
This means, you can actually mix and match your own parka!
Some of the styles are completely lined with fur, even on the hood and the edges. Of course, you can also order styles with only fur in the hood and on the edges.
A small selection of styles have leather sleeves.
Fitting, materials, washing, look and of course a competitive price are most important.

Michael Boveleth says that woman have become more confident the last couple of years and that they want to mix different fabrics, which is what Blonde No.8 stands for.

After he told us evertything we needed to know about Blonde we went out to dinner at the Belga Queen in Brussels.
Defenitely something you have to do!
The food is outstanding and the environment is amazing.
When you go out there to dinner also take the time to drink some cocktails before, you will LOVE them :-)

Enjoy the pictures and fall in Love with Blonde No.8 like we did ;-)
